We know you are excited to start new skincare products, there are chances tht you want to start them and see the magic, But here is what you need to know.

When starting any skincare routine first check if your skin barrier.


How to check if your skin barrier is damaged?

  1. Dry  tight feeling, rough
  2. Excess oil production due to feedback mechanisms when there is less water content in the skin. Dehydrated oily skin.

Repair your barrier:

  1. Use hydrating mists or gels
  2. On top of that use light emollients like Squalane or Hemp seed oil
  3. Use a light emollient moisturiser not gel creams
  4. Never use a harsh cleanser

Your barrier should repair in a week or two. Start your actives only after your barrier is repaired


How to use actives?

Start with one active at a time 

Give it at least 1-2 weeks before you start the next active.

We don't know what product is working best for you unless you start one after one.

Always apply a moisturiser or squalane before actives . (Buffer your actives)

Actives work well when skin is well hydrated. 

 

How to use Vti C or Niacinamide?

Semi damp skin for better penetration

If you are sensitive don't apply on damp skin


How to use BHA or AHA?

Use it on dry skin

Initially apply after a moisturiser 

Later you can apply bare skin after face wash, let the skin dry before applying. Leave on for 15 min and then follow up moisturiser. But this is not for sensitive skin or combination skin. 


Routines 

1 . Oily skin

Week 1: Start with a gentle cleanser ( our Centella Face wash is here to rescue you from harsh cleansers) and apply White Lotus Moisturiser with a drop of Squalane. This routine will build your barrier.

Week 2: This week, you can introduce Niacinamide serum in your routine. Mix the serum with WLM + Squalane and apply this on damp skin for better penetration.

Week 3: Continue with the same routine as above.

Week 4: Considering your skin didn’t react to Niacinamide Serum, now you can add BHA serum as well to your routine. Use it on dry skin, twice a week, at night.

 

2. Combination Skin:


Week 1:  Start with a gentle cleanser ( our Centella Face wash is here to rescue you from harsh cleansers) and apply White Lotus Moisturiser with a drop of Hemp. This routine will build your barrier.

Week 2: This week, you can introduce Niacinamide serum in your routine. Mix the serum with WLM + Hemp and apply this on damp skin for better penetration.

Week 3: Continue with the same routine as above

Week 4: Considering your skin didn’t react to Niacinamide Serum, now you can add AHA serum as well to your routine. Use it on dry skin, twice a week, at night.

3. Dry Skin:


Week 1: Start with a cream cleanser ( you can use Cetaphil) and apply Calendula Oat Cream. This routine will help in providing hydration to your skin. In case you still feel little dry you can add a drop of Hemp Oil.

Week 2: This week, you can introduce Niacinamide serum in your routine. Mix the serum with Oat cream+ Hemp and apply this on damp skin for better penetration.

Week 3:Continue with the same routine as above

Week 4:Considering your skin didn’t react to Niacinamide Serum, now you can add AHA serum as well to your routine. Use it on dry skin, twice a week, at night.
