How to avoid reaction with water based serums?
Add 1-2 drops of Squalane to the water based serums and apply. When skins' barrier is damaged, skin can be quick to react. Skin has very small dry cracks, they needs emollients(oils) to fill up those cracks. If actives are applied to such cracks, irritation can occur. Its best to apply light non problematic emollients like squalane first and then apply water based serums on top. Your actives will work slower this way but you wont take chances with irritation. Alternatively add 1 drop of Squalene to water based products and apply.
Alternatively you can also use actives along with creams (not water based gels) to avoid chances of irritation.
How to reduce Pore size?
1. Use Niacinamide Serum
2. Use exfoliants like AHA or BHA regularly
3. Avoid any heavy creams or Sunscreens.
4. It can take few months to show some improvement in pore size.
But as you age pore size may be bigger than earlier and we have to accept it. Also genetically some may have bigger pores than others.
Please Note: The color of Niacinamide is clear to pale yellow.
I am using this serum every night and felt a gradual improvement in acne scaring. But this makes my skin a little dry the next morning, so make sure you follow it up with a good layer of moisturizer.
I never thought this serum would work so beautifully on my skin! It's the best for pores and also brightens the face!! Like seriously the best! Will be buying again ♥️♥️♥️♥️
This is my first experience with active serums and this is my first serum I tried and is really a wow product, iam using this product for 15 days and I could see the change, my skin became smoth and black spots became light and so I ordered another one for my daughter
I’ve been using this serum since 4th October and ever since then, my problem area (forehead) has been completely clear. Even if I get a mild zit here and there now, I’m not worried anymore because I know this serum will handle it and get rid of it ASAP. Also, I’m a facial oil user and this serum helps in controlling my pore size if I ever load up heavily on facial oils.
